Awesome song.
Thought this was Sufjan Stevens, no not but still remarkably similar sound
nice
I adore a thoughtful, well crafted melody that returns again and again to take you home.
 Pineapple tree

WHO STOLE MY PINEAPPLES??!

Great tune!
Saw him jam on Letterman during "Drummers' Week," and, of course, HE ROCKED IT BIG-TIME! I like this song and I love RP best...
A little Harmonium (Quebec prog rock band from the 1970s), a little Camel, a little Focus, a little Porcupine Tree (perhaps):  sounds nice.

More than a similarity, I guess: Gavin Harrison has played drums with both bands.

Thank you for that.
Camouflage not. But for the vocalist, one would not guess. Hardly Halo or Dark Matter.

Been seeing a lot of these 'newer' prog rock bands with my dad ever since I got him hooked on Porcupine Tree almost ten years ago now. The Pineapple Thief is definitely one of our favorites, we go and see them together every time they're around and we've seen the crowd grow every single time as well. Great little band, love them!
1st listen for me, new music, cool

the album cover looks like something from a movie soundtrack album, I thought it was at first glance

Did I read somewhere that Gavin Harrison is behind the drum kit on this album?

Yes, and John Helliwell (Supertramp and on Momentary Lapse of Reason) on clarinet.
Good stuff! 8 from me this sunny  (finally) PNW morning

looks like a 50's or 60's Plymouth with US style license plate, the people seem dressed of that era, the rocks have the 4 Corners feel (Utah, Arizona, New Mexico and Colorado) as well as some well maintained graveled service road

likable music  : )

That would make a lot of sense... sounds kinda like PT to me.

Nice! Yet another band I probably wouldn't have known about without RP.
