Bluebirds over the mountain, seagulls over the sea
Bluebirds over the mountain, bring my baby back to me

Boy and girl they fell in love, each was like the hands above
He looked in the eyes of blue, she vowed to him that she'd be true

Bluebirds over the mountain, seagulls over the sea
Bluebirds over the mountain, bring my baby back to me

(Well, well, well, well)

I miss you, oh, can't you see? You're the only one for me
Since you've gone, I'm all alone, c'mon, baby, come back home

Bluebirds over the mountain, seagulls over the sea
Bluebirds over the mountain, come on and bring my baby back to me
Bring my baby back to me
Bring my baby...

Bring her back to me
Bring her back to me
Bring her back to me

Another "classic" rock idiom refashioned. Plant can be a hard pill to swallow, but there's no denying his range and depth.
Bill, do you play anything other than Robert Plant in his various iterations? This song was on, I pushed PSD and got Led Zeppelin.

I switched to another station.
just noise
I like this version better.
I like it. I'm glad he's creating new original sounds in his later career - sounds like he's having fun. Same musical direction as "Lullaby and the Ceaseless Roar", which is Quite Likeable too.
I really like this later work. Not for some, I guess, those longing for yesterday maybe, but I like this and all his stuff since leaving the zep.
well, I like it!
Disappointing.
