Hey, my apologies, happy belated!

im going through so much birdseed a week it’s nuts. Have seen, of course a bunch of doves and blue jays (grrr) but a good bit of titmouse, tiny sparrow, three different kinds of woodpeckers, and my favorite - junco! Love them.

im also feeding a tribe of almost tame squirrels who come to me for peanuts. My fav is a female with half a tail!

Snuggled kitties
Remembered the incredibly amazing kitty we lost 5 years ago today, and cried
Vacuumed
Cleaned the bathroom
Did 2 loads of laundry
Shopped at a jumbled up mess of a restaurant supply store, and got a few things
Got a couple of things from Blood Bath and Beyond, and found the 20% off coupon in my purse after we got home
Tried a St. Germain cocktail, and didn't like it
Massaged oil into a dead chicken before it went into the oven

You and your lovely wife are welcome here anytime. You might be able to appreciate summer better than other seasons, but do bring your parkas. Seriously. We're a great jumping off point for rain forests and Canuckistan, as you know.

We've got some good mechanics here with a high-tech shop and reasonable prices. We're good.

Mike's 2004 has about 75k miles on it. (First car I EVER custom ordered, and it was right when Volvo stopped selling V70 AWDs overseas. I had to take one already on the boat - at a very nice discount. First world problem? Yes. Yes it was.)

My 2007 former fleet car (XC70) has 93k on it. It's our primary car because it sits higher and our knees are bad. Also because the cargo area windows are thoroughly painted in dog snot.

They're both just babies. We're hoping they'll outlive us.

#stupid shiny volvo owners
