Makes sense to me. So what is the consensus on acid. It certainly is not a natural compound found in the body.

LSD is wholly other...  The way I understand it is that between the nerve cells are these gaps called the synapses where the nerves trigger the next nerve by releasing a "transmitter substance" which is then broken down in a controlled process by enzymes which inhabit the gaps.  LSD gets into the synapses and either interferes with or actually breaks down the enzymes which break down the transmitter substances so that all nerve impulses become exaggerated and the sensory inputs into the brain over-fire.  This causes the mind to come loose from direct attachment to sensation.  Fantasy becomes more possible, the mind is allowed to follow thought patterns unfettered from the normal patterns of our thinking.  It takes an amazingly small amount of the drug to cause effect.  Albert Hoffman's first "trip" was caused by an amazingly low 250 Micrograms of the substance.  It's about one 4,000th of a gram.

My friend James called me up today. He had been on a week long experiment in stupidity.

It started with an acid trip that turned into a 4 day drunk ( some of you may recall from early in this post I bailed from that scene).

He posted pics of himself and some half naked woman, and assorted other miscreants, from his camera phone onto his Facebook page during the binge. It was kinda cool to look in on actually.

Gonzo journalism for the average man.

Anyway. I took him out on the track today and made him run 800 meter sprints then walk 400 meters saying how sorry he was for being a dick head.....then run another 800 meters.

His penance done...he says NO MORE...but we shall see.

I like to trip people, too! It's easy and fun! Just walk closely behind someone and simply kick their foot inwards as it swings forwards. They will trip over their own leg. It works especially well on slippery surfaces such as wet crosswalks or ice roads. Try it! Its high-larious! Plus it's all natural and drug free!

{#Lol} Note to self: always walk behind manbird.
