I think wanting to establish his bone fides as a serious fan (thus allowed to remain without being seriously drunk) our virgin mentioned that this was already second game this year.  He had been in Florida and had managed to get to the very first game of the season this year.  The guy in front of us turned around and said slowly with his head down "Yeah.  .....  This is my fourth game this year.     ........    I have a problem."

The first step is admitting that you have a problem.

Don't just pencil me in, but write me in with ink for 2019.Once my back surgery is done,I'm gonna be making up for lost time.I can't remember the last time I could sit in a bleacher or play my guitar for more than 5 minutes without pain.Never took any pills for it though,so there's that.

I have dreams of one of those all the parks in a year missions.

  I'll settle for fewer parks and more varieties of beer in a pinch though.{#Lol}

On April 18, Cleveland played Minnesota in Puerto Rico. It was a long game.

How long you ask?

Twins' First baseman Joe Mauer was 34 years old when the game started. He was 35 when it ended.

Houston's Yuli Gurriel's younger brother Lourdes Jr playing his first MLB game with the Blue Jays.

So far, 2 hits and 3 RBIs. Yuli did say his brother was a better hitter.

It was kind of eerie.  A guy sitting in front of me remarked that it was like being at a Brewers game.  As I've mentioned here before letting ones beard get out into Santa Claus territory makes you highly potent Fan Cam bait.  Often before the game starts I will mention it to those around me in case they are on the run or something and would want to change seats.  I told them yesterday that normally my chances were around a one in five or six, but with a crowd this size and the dearth of funny looking old geezers it had likely jumped to one in three or maybe even fifty fifty.  I do kind of enjoy it when their friends send them the video while the game is still going on after I've given them the warning.  I guess these smartphones may have some decent uses after all.

I was trying to watch a home Dodgers broadcast.All they are doing is kissing each others posterior body parts and talking about how smart they are regarding movie trivia.

I'd take a senile,drooling,totally silent Vin Scully over this abomination anyday.

God Bless you Mr.Scully for all your fine work.

  I do agree somewhat.However,in a snowy weather pinch,it is us against the dogs.Marbling is an important factor in this,so ignore warnings about giving them table scraps.It could add that .0001 percent of body fat needed for you to survive.These facts and your metabolism may vary.

Hmm. I was listening to the radio because I can't watch Rox live, so I dunno. When I do go back and watch later, they always have the Denver feed available.
