Out from, out from the paper bag
Into the safe and warm again
Long time since I have felt the sun,
Since I went singing in the rain
Autumn, it is my interview,
It`s when I ask just how things are
Changing, the colours of today.
Like you and I have changed for sure

CHORUS:
I've missed the way you smile
Your tales of fame and fortune
Walk a minute and we'll walk a mile
We can really tell the future
One look shows a hundred words, rather you to see
Than me to show the charms I still hold dear
And all the things that hold me to you

Now that I hold you in my arms
It strangely feels like nothing's changed
Found some, I found some love today
More than I thought could be allowed.

First CDs I bought after hearing on RP nearly 15 years ago (via emailing some guy who was their US distributor) were from Equation. Still listen from time to time, still like it. Glad it's still in the rotation!

Ha! So did I after listening to this track I think. And I too still play it from time to time.

Glad to meet another LONG time RP listener :)

Tell me about it!  I thought I was the only one suffering from corns on my feet until you chimed in and, oh, sorry, I thought we were talking about a foot condition

This album cover art reminds me of Tom Tom Club meets Talking Heads on a kids show in the late 70s. I dunno it just does. I like the tune. I also kinda like the cover art too...thanks RP for continuing to peak my interest.

not to be a word-nazi but so others aren't misled - the word is "pique". i admit it looks kinda bourgeois but what you wrote means something very different

Actually, the album is great. I never really liked The Corrs, but this Equation album is wonderful. Much stronger than what I know by The Corrs.
Love Kathryn Roberts voice anywhere, anytime.

This song stirs me!  Great instrumentals, nice harmonies!
Meh
I'd get up and dance for this.
Sweet!  Stingray you drew out the Big Guns.  Others may expect you to be the knowlegeable on EUROPE.

THANK YOU, Bill. I sorta love this band... And that you responded to our resident troll only makes it more special...

eeeww...not in my opinion....more along the lines of the late Sandy Denny!

This is thoughtful and sweet.

The fiddle raises my rating significantly. The rest of it is classic ho hum.

Kind of how I feel....seems too fluffy to care about, which I guess makes it kinda bad, but I just can't get that worked up about it.
