I just went looking for this one on YouTube yesterday!
8===>9
VG Annie Lennox-like background vocals.
Upped it from a 9 to a 10.  Got those shoulders rocking and hips movin in my chair.  Whoo hoo!
Luv it {#Music}

Ha ha!  I was dancing in my seat.

Oh, brother. Last year, I gave my students the option of using this among five other tunes as a music project to create a video through Creative Commons licensing. About TWENTY of the 28 kids chose THIS tune! I had to edit, review, assess their videos ... listened to this song dozens of times. I would never have thought I'd hear it here!
Here's an example of the students' work, if you have a moment.

My daughter, a struggling artist, making her way through the muck of the business. Wish she'd catch a break.

You're a very good and talented Father Mike
I hope your daughter catches a break and does music for a living......if not,she still is blessed with talent.
Not a good set!

There's mixing and then there is blatant theft. Integrity? Plagiarism? Or is it ethically and musically OK to simply rip off other's creative efforts? Not a new topic, but listening to this track, the extent of the material incorporated seems a bit over the top.

Midnight oil should 'have a word'
Annie!{#Dancingbanana}

Everyone at my bridge club loves this song!

First heard this song right here in 2001. Thanks RP!

Good thing litigiousness was not your career choice, because that is a highly dubious parallel.  I say that as a fan of both Euphoria and the Oils.

my bed is burning...
..i might as well start this one at an 8, since i can tell it'll reach that on my scale sooner or later..

Ok, I am not the litigious type, but didn't they have to pay something to Midnight Oil for this??{#Stupid}

Was THAT your daughter's work????  Wow.  I love the song, but those visuals are awesome. I hope she catches a wave and rides it to paradise - she's got a wonderful vision. Did she take those pics? DETAILS, dammit! I want details. I know people who might be able to help, if they think she's got some talent.

Oh yes! I love this song, as well as many other offerings from Euphoria.
I used it in my promo video, take a look!
It's available in 1080p, watch it fullscreen!

Rene & Renato - I can totally hear that.

I keep thinking of that old Midnight Oil song when I hear the riff

I guess that could classify this band as "eclectic".

As interesting as the vocals are, the instrumentals seem like something recycled from an 80's synthpop band—and I mean that in a bad way. I can almost picture the guy in a narrow tie and Dippity-Do hairdo playing a Keytar, and the drummer sitting in front of his red, hexagonal, electronic drum kit.

Dude, are you even listening to the guitars?  No one was doing that in 80s electronica.  Methinks you're just fixated on the drums.

Had to crank this one too to appreciate the groove. Maybe I am listening to my music too low
Wow, this grooves. {#Dance}

I really love the beat. 9/10

Go ahead you "this sounds like" people. Everyone sounds like someone else. Regardless of who sounds like whom, I find most of Euphoria crisp and refreshing. So to me they sound like a freshly made salad. Delicious.
