Sleepytime Jazz is the soporific label for this song .. it's plings and plucks send you into a new meditative state.
How cool is to end the working day with this song !

thank you,
No I am decreasing to 5 - Decent which is my highest "no go"  Sorry I'm tired of Ray V
To me this is 8 - Most Excellent
Sorry Bill, I have to WORK here. Don't play Riviera Paradise out of the blue. My mind than just stops working and goes in chill-mode involuntary.

Wonderful.  Thanks for making my morning.

Irish
I give SRV an eleven. The pure soul. had the honor to see him a few times at little dive clubs back then and hang back stage with him
Holy smokes! I consider myself a fan of SRV, but I guess I'm not the ultimate fan, because I had not heard this. Gorgeous. Thanks for making my day and showing me something by him I'd never heard. It's the little things in life, and this was a nice gift for today.

Bwahahaha!

Look to the mirror if you seek something over hyped.
{#Laughing} simply love it

Magnifique. Quelle splendeur.
One of the very few songs that was actually composed by SRV and truly a masterpiece.
So much of Stevie's soul pours from his guitar on this tune. The raw emotion is palpable.
New listener to RP, and when this song came on I was so blown away (by it and the quality & clarity of the sound) I had to stop everything and just absorb it. An out of body for sure! Love the station!!!
I love the mix of flourish and restraint in this one. Not easy to do both.
First time to hear this - rated it a 9.
Then listened a bit more while reading all your comments and bumped it to a 10.
If it can bring responses like yours it's truly godlike.
Shit! Already rated it 10. Do that every time.
