Ain't but one way out baby, Lord I just can't go out the door.
Ain't but one way out baby, and Lord I just can't go out the door.
Cause there's a man down there, might be your man I don't know.

Lord you got me trapped woman, up on the second floor;
If I get by this time I won't be trapped no more.
So raise your window baby, and I can ease out soft and slow.
And lord, your neighbors, no they won't be
Talking that stuff that they don't know.

Lord, I'm foolish to be here in the first place,
I know some man gonna walk in and take my place.
Ain't no way in the world, I'm going out that front door
Cause there's a man down there, might be your man I don't know.
Cause there's a man down there, might be your man I don't know.
Cause there's a man down there,

Lord, it just might happen to be your man...
Lord, it just a might be your man,
Mmm-mm-mmm-mm...
Lord, it just a might be your man,
Oh baby, I just don't know..

Allman Bros Band at the Fillmore East is the best live recording of all time. Period. The energy given off could power NYC for 100 years.

Yeah I know this is a track on Eat a Peach but only 'cause the first pressing couldn't hold it all.
a set of stars in the firmament.....{#Notworthy}
This one sounds like the complete instrumental part is taken from LedZep's "Moby Dick" which was released three years earlier.
this is a total WAKE THE FUCK UP AND BOOGIE TUNE!!!  SHAZZAM!
One of those old songs that still makes me reach over and turn it up from the opening notes without even thinking about it. Greatness.

So nice after Greg's passing.

SHAZZAM!!!
Man, there's enough energy generated by this track to power the planet.
44 years? Really?  I don't know if I should feel depressed I remember it in the day, or happy to be able to remember it.  At any rate, Thanks Bill.

Damn tinnitus is gonna act up after this round with the headphones! {#Cheers}

You know, I never notice my tinnitus until somebody mentions it, thank you very much.   {#Arghhh}
To think Greg Allman was 23 and Duane 24 when this was recorded. The Fillmore was indeed a palace of musician royalty.

Perhaps he was calling him a rooster, which could be perceived as a compliment?  ; )
