Put a candle in the window,
'Cause I feel I've got to move.
Though I'm going, going,
I'll be coming home soon,
Long as I can see the light.

Pack my bag and let's get movin',
'Cause I'm bound to drift a while.
When I'm gone, gone,
You don't have to worry long,
Long as I can see the light.

Guess I've got that old trav'lin' bone,
'Cause this feelin' won't leave me alone.
But I won't, won't
Be losin' my way, no, no,
Long as I can see the light.

Yeah! Yeah! Yeah! Oh, yeah!

Put a candle in the window,
'Cause I feel I've got to move.
Though I'm going, going,
I'll be coming home soon,
Long as I can see the light,
Long as I can see the light,
Long as I can see the light,
Long as I can see the light,
Long as I can see the light...

Just a plain old thanks for the music
To me a STRONG  8 - Most Excellent
That was a lovely transition from a Creedence cover to the REAL DEAL!

What a string of memorable songs CCR put out in a relatively short period of time.
Should play it often! {#Whistle} {#Music}

I always thought they were from the south because of Fogerty's singing and sometime-southern accent. Then I found out he was from the East Bay (El Cerrito, CA). Fake accent. Weird. I'm from near there, and we don't talk like that. {#Stupid}

"S'alright, I'm from the same place as Mick Jagger and we don't talk like that either.
Always the ones less suspected and expected.?
Comin like a freight train as it should.
Superb. Joyful, defiantly upbeat melancholy.
The Mavis Staples -> CCR segue has been in rotation as long as I can remember, but I still love it!  Hopefully the Blind Boys song gets prepended permanently... it works perfectly as well.

Ahh, nice to hear this old CCR gem.
Fantastic fucking song. Reminds me of my time as a tramp.
First and yes, my Hinterlands friend, my grammar is still questionable.  This is a great number from way before my time.
