I feel the spirit
Of the great sisters
Calling on me to sing
This is the learning
Of the great story
I'll tell you about this place
From the edge of the mountains
Fly down the valley
Down where the Snowy River flows
Follow the water
Down to the ocean
Bring back the memory
This is a timeless land
This is our land...
Just like the wise man
Who taught me the beauty
Of the creation times
The point where the mountain
Meets with the sky
Sparks a fire within my sould
Watching Mother Nature around me
Woman, creators, history
Finding these people Up in the mountain
Sharing the same old song
This is a timeless land
This is our land...
This is a timeless land
This is our land
Of the great sisters
Calling on me to sing

Hello everyone, 2024 here
Wow, 4.5. Probably the lowest I've seen in 20+ years of tuning in to RP. There is a lot of screaming going on.
Terrible
My lunch is taking offense to this song. Make it stop!

I don't have a cat.
No accounting for taste, is there?

Is the aboriginal fellow is singing, \"we\'re thrashing those English bstds in the ashes again\"?.

Catchy, but anoying at the same time.
This is a cd worth picking up. A number of good cuts. Along with the 13 Yothu Yindi band members {from the Yolngu -Aboriginal- homelands on the ne coast of Australia} they are supported on this disc by Neil Finn, Bill Lasswell and Bernie Worrell, among others.
A few other tracks worth noting: Back to Culture, Yolngu Boy and Dots on the Shells.

Oh HOW COOL! I thought to myself when this came on that it sounded like Yothu Yindi!
I saw them live at James Madison University (I already loved their music) and they put on a fantastic show!
Thanks, AGAIN, RP!
Dig the didj. Excellent Aboriginal music combined with modern beat. Great tune. These performers are great paired with Midnight Oil.
Blarg!
Pretty interesting stuff
