Sit around and watch the tube, but nothing's on
I change the channels for an hour or two
Twiddle my thumbs just for a bit
I'm sick of all the same old shit
In a house with unlocked doors, and I'm fuckin' lazy
Bite my lip and close my eyes
Take me away to paradise
I'm so damn bored, I'm going blind
And I smell like shit
Peel me off this Velcro seat and get me movin'
I sure as hell can't do it by myself
I'm feelin' like a dog in heat
I'm barred indoors from the summer street
I locked the door to my own cell and I lost the key
Bite my lip and close my eyes
Take me away to paradise
I'm so damn bored, I'm going blind
I smell like shit
I got no motivation
Where is my motivation?
No time for the motivation
Smoking, my inspiration
Shit!
Sit around and watch the phone, but no one's callin'
Call me pathetic, call me what you will
My mother says to get a job
But she don't like the one she's got
When masturbation's lost its fun, you're fuckin' lonely
Bite my lip and close my eyes
Take me away to paradise
I'm so damn bored, I'm going blind
Loneliness has to suffice
Bite my lip and close my eyes
Slippin' away to paradise
Some say quit, or I'll go blind
But that's just a myth

Nice to hear G D in the rotation. They were a new & great sound that still rocks
Took my kid & his buddy to see them at a stadium  concert.
Jimmy Eat World opened.  Gotta say they were really good live.
Please no...
Yes! Good one. My story I have with Green Day: l love most of their stuff until Nimrod. After that it's a bit divided, they still have some 10/10 bangers but some also very annoying songs and a lot of mediocre stuff. Song from their new album I can recommend: 1981. Catchy as hell without being annoying. Check it out!
More Green Day on RP! That'll probably upset a few folks, but not me. I've never heard a Green Day track i didn't like.
Dookie & Kerplunk, were my introduction to Green Day, they were albums the singer/lead guitarist in one of my old bands used to play. I am always grateful for him doing that.
Hi Crow, if you're reading this, thanks mate
This single was the first CD I ever owned. It's not original, but it's still pretty raw and it has a good bassline, a nice beat and a lot of energy. On the whole a decent sound for a three-piece, IMHO.
