We're not allowed to stream anymore at work so when I'm on break, I listen to RP on my iPhone. It's great! I'm just wondering if there will be an option to rate songs using this app eventually.

link to article what article says: We just got the announcement, iPhone OS 3.0 is coming. Set your clocks, mark your calendars. It's going down March 17th. Apparently, we'll get a sneak peak at the new OS, as well as a look at a brand new version of the SDK. Exciting stuff indeed, and we'll be there live at 10am PST (1pm EST) with the liveblog. Apple's calling this an "advance preview of what we're building," so we're not expecting anything ready to go as of the 17th, but hopefully this will allow developers to start building toward future functionality (hey, how about some push notifications?), and presumably users won't have too many months to wait after that for the real deal.

Furnace is fixed. Fireplace is lit. Cat is napping in front of fireplace. Wife is on her way home. Radio Paradise is playing can be heard on the main level. I think I need some hot cocoa with butterscotch or peppermint schnapps to complete this slice of paradise...

Yay for thread necromancy... I'm working from home today waiting for the furnace repair person, sitting next to the gas fireplace with a Dell laptop on my lap to keep me warm while it's -20 F outside. Not hanging out in the basement where there is no heat at all, but the basement is where I could stream RP to a stereo... So trying my iPod touch to the mini system on the main level. The "official" testing streams chirp chirp chrip, so I went IPT app hunting. Trying SHOUTcast Radio for now and it seems to work, but only the 64K stream is available. Sounds good enough, but if anyone has app suggestions I'm up for trying them.
Do a search for "radio paradise" in the app store. We have an app of our own. We're also available on Flycast.
