Radio Paradise

I am experiencing problems with the Radio Paradise app on an iphone 3g. When starting the app, I almost always get a notice that says "No Network. A network connection is required. Please verify your network settings and try again". If I hit OK and hit the play button again, it connects. It seems it is not trying long enough to connect to the 3g network. Other apps, like Pandora, open and connect on the first go. Is there a way to extend the time it tries to connect to the network?

Are you using the latest update to the RP app? I thought I fixed the false reporting of "no network" in 1.4, but it could be I missed a case. Ideally, the app shouldn't be giving false reports of no network.

Shoot me a message and I'll do my best to help you out. I'm working on an update for the app to include some other changes (improved buffering, stopping playback when the headphones get unplugged, and a few other tweaks), so if there's still a problem with the "no network" message, I'll try to fix it before sending the new version to Apple.
