Just wanted to say how much I enjoy dipping into the Slideshow - it's a great feature I use quite often on the phone app and has many images that have me going "Wow!" when they pop up
I love how it selects images appropriate to the tracks when it can. That's really clever.
I'm trying it on my PC right now - also great, but it would be even better if it had the option to enable the "Ken burns" animation effect, which I also like very much!
I see the new RP player has the animated slideshow, along with many other cool features! Great work, RP Team!

A shout-out of thanks to . . . Eugene Birchall, whose rich, warm captures of Wessex, England, have greatly enriched the slideshow. We viewers thank him for his many beautiful contributions.

Is there a way to get information or originals of these. I often think "oh, that would make a cool wallpaper" as they go by, but often I'm not close enough to grab the image when it's up. Is there a repository that is open?
"The Archangel Michael Prays for Strength," one of my digital artworks, has been accepted for the broadcast. It took a crazy amount of work, which I did for the piece itself, but I'm glad it's going to be part of the broadcast.
I licensed the photos of the model and of the wings from canStockPhoto.com. Everything else, I designed and created in Inkscape and GIMP. Each ring of the chainmail was positioned, rotated and skewed by hand.
I was going to ask for a link to a higher-res version to check out, but when I replied, it showed up large in the dialog box for some reason.
Pretty cool. I'm sure there are ways to automate the chainmail but you'd probably still need to tweak...
By way of commemoration of my 1000th image being accepted for the RPHD slideshow, I post this picture:
and pose this question: If images of celebrities were OK (and I suppose the President of the Russian Federation is a celebrity), what song would this photo be tagged to?
My answer: Tears for Fears - Everybody Wants to Rule the World.
