A good friend says, âyou know, when I went to visit my mom in the hospital, she was lying there and the TV was blasting Letâs Make a Deal - which I would hate. Iâd rather have it off and some nice music playing. But what if I werenât able to speak, like if I had a breathing tube? Itâs weird, but I really donât want someone playing a lot of music that I hate while Iâm stuck, and maybe itâs my last days on earth⦠So I made a playlistâ¦â
Assuming that radio like RP isnât an option, what would you put on your âBefore I goâ playlist? Would you assign it to someone? âYou know, if something were to happen to me, can you do me this favorâ¦?â

Yet, since your country is (was?) supposed to be way more liberally organized than mine, there could be ways for some private creativity involved which is strictly impossible over here? - Just guessing at this point. - For example, burying someone on private grounds is strictly forbidden here in Prussia, natürlich!
I remember my grannie had a "Sterbe-Versicherung", covering for the inescapable undertaker-expenses. Such insurance-policies have latterly been renamed as "life-insurance", ya sure of course! In her days, it was normal to rent a grave for a lifetime-lease that lasted 24, 49, or 99 and more years. Families used to have their places (family graves). Since no-one's gonna pay for the lease anymore, ours has been flattened lately.
Few years ago when a close friend deceased, his brother got him cremated in a neighboring country, just so he could keep his ashes and after smuggling them back across the border (illegally), to spread them to the sea where he'd lived. The way he himself had wanted it... a quite rare occasion.

Yep, that is pretty morbid. For me, the biggest problem about being locked in would be the lack of choice. You could put on Beethoven's symphonies (all nine of them) on an endless loop and I'd probably still freak out.
I just hope someone pulls the plug in time. (dang, better get on to that living will thing.. )

My boyfriend already has strict instructions about what to put in my earbuds if the day ever comes. Hopefully, it won't come to that, but.....
