So yesterday at work at the office where we use an Alexa dot to source music to listen to on an old receiver stereo system, I was told that earlier in the week the store got a call from the DEA.  This was very shortly after a conversation about recently deceased pets.  One associate offered the other some of her late dog's meds to the other.  There was a very detailed conversation mentioning specific drug names and how one would be happy to give these to the other associate to use for her pets.  Almost immediately after the conversation was over the phone rang and it was the DEA inquiring about drug dealing and use at the shop.  The inquiry was evidently resolved to the satisfaction of the DEA, but ...

So you have nothing to fear if you are doing nothing wrong ... right ...

I've been very hesitant about turning anything Alexa (or similar devices) on in our home because of hearing stories about Alexa eavesdropping and other crazy things.  This seals that deal.  Never invite the vampire into your home, cuz if you do ...

Holidaymakers have been warned to watch their words after two friends were refused entry to the US on security grounds after a tweet.

Before his trip, Leigh Van Bryan wrote that he was going to "destroy America".

He insisted he was referring to simply having a good time - but was sent home.

Trade association Abta told the BBC that the case highlighted that holidaymakers should never do anything to raise "concern or suspicion in any way".

The US Department for Homeland Security picked up Mr Bryan's messages ahead of his holiday in Los Angeles.
