Received a letter about a credit card dispute asking for a response within 2 weeks. Letter arrived a month after it was sent and didn't include the attachment I was supposed to be responding to. So they closed the dispute.
A 60 day notice to get out of my house and not a single rental to apply for.
Well, actually there was one. But we've not heard back and I think it was
a scam of some sort.
Well, is this the conclusion of Manbird?
Will I hear the fly buzz?
There's a constant demand for pet-minding house sitters over here - sourced on a couple of trusted websites, or through word of mouth . I've done it a lot, it's been pretty beneficial. I don't know if there's anything like that you can look into as one possible idea?. Of course you need somewhere to store your stuff - and to not have own pets, usually. I've done it on my own but some property owners want couples, and/or blokes who are handy at maintenance, or gardening.
Well keep looking for a temp place until you get what you want.
... or for another 56 days - whichever comes first. Yesterday I got scammed for $25 by a fake rental ad on craigslist.
The anger and embarrassment at myself is worse than the loss.

I hurt the crap out my my back and I have some crazy giant painful lump in my neck like a blocked salivary gland. Plus:
The POS landlord and his clan decided to sell our house and we have to sweat our freaking holes off to try and clean
it because we're not the cleany weany types and it's a shithole. But it was OUR shit hole. We surely won't have any place
to go. We wanted to try and get a USDA loan for po' folks and put a home and a gorgeous acre we found up on Paradise.
But with these interest rates we won't be able to afford much of a loan. Otherwise, no prob. Out own acre of heaven.
ust sitting there with it's little vineyard and all, waiting for us...
Anywho the realtors are coming around in and hour and I don't know if I can do much more.

I've been kicked out homes since I was a kid. I such horrific PTSD from it.
This is the last time, that's for sure
Take heaps of support from people at this time, if you can!! ( pls know it's not empty words..I've had to do the same). I'll look out for any updates you post on this
I hear ya. The place I've lived in for the last 12 years has been on market for the last year. It's under offer atm.
Hope yours doesn't sell - or new owners keep you on. If it's a bit old and crumbly (like ours) maybe it will take a long time to sell.. I don't know about there, but over here, since Covid, there's much less renovating of old houses going on - due to less availability/ slower sourcing of materials.

Just got this news in my email.
Man, Disney is getting greedy. In October they will be boosting prices of Legacy Disney Bundle+ by $4 from $14.99 to $18.99. You can get the same package with ads for $12.99 now which will then go up to $14.99 in October.
Classic corporate shell game with prices. ð
Cutting the Cord is now going to be cutting the Stream.
where is it ? A half a mile uphill away from the truck using wheel barrows on planks over rocky and muddy terrain ?
Ha. a level 10 feet from the street.
Back in grad school on summer I did a little foundation work. Being the newest member, I was charged with carrying the wood planks used to shape the cement back and forth...and this was up in the hills west of Denver, so yes, quite a distance from the road and usually involved some hills.
