Manu Chao - El Contragolpe, Live

"Tema Original del Colombianos Alci Acosta, Gracias Manu por esta versión..."

The only good thing about this song is that it signifies that Charlie Parker is coming next.
annoying
Me gusto mucho!
And what of PIPPIN?? Shall Master Took have none?
Manu Chao has some good songs but all sound similar - and all are extremely repetitious. This one is just repetitious with few redeeming features.

Great!!! This guy is really creative. I like the fact that he sings in many languages despite his accent. Je ne t'aime plus, mon amour...

You jinxed us man. Richard Thompson instead. Bill will not stand for such bold predictions of the play list.

The man knows his music mixes.....

to quote BumbleBee Man: No es Bueno! Ay, que agonia!

There's so much more to MC than this tune...
One would hope so. I'm game for other tunes by Manu, cause this one is just busy nonsense to me. Maybe the bongwater needs to be changed.
Is that sample about the station being dull from an Arnold movie? It sounds just like the Gov.
I don't get all the negative comments on this one. Great groove and nice joy. Maybe y'all just neet to 'get in the mood', if you know what I mean.....

I think I know what you mean, but there's not any single element of that texture that is remotely impressive to me, and added all up, no more than the sum of its mediocre parts. Just my $0.02
Not much merry about this. Feh.

Manu Chao has had so many different styles and so many interesting songs. It's sad that here at Radio Paradise we only hear some of the goofiest and, oddly, only those sung in English. I like this song, but I like some of his more traditional songs more. Hell, I even like his more hiphop songs more.
"Goofiest"? Like "goofy" is a bad thing?!? I c ast my vote for goofy! :D/
I had to turn the volume down on that one
What is up with this crap? If I send you an ePayment will you promise to never play it again? That song was so bad I almost went in the other room to watch TV.
thank you miles,i totally agree
Oh, man, the negative Manu Chao comments bum me out. His albums Esperanza and Clandestino are so good and so much fun. It's not accurate/fair to stick him in a comparison to Marley category, because so much of his music is nothing like Marley's.

i gave it a 5 for effort, but really, its sounds like bob marley's worst nightmare! with some cool jazz sax at the end! oops...that's the next song (Charlie Parker - Bloomdido) like i said before, bob marley's worst nightmare!

a mi me gusta Manu Chao!!! Estan muy bien catadores!!! Creo que Estados Unidos personas no saber sobre otra canciones! Manu CHao tienen otra canciones bonita
I don't know about the song, but it does go well with the bounce emoticons!

what, that bongo song? ICK!
Truly a shame MC is underrated here in the States. Playing one song does not give his blend of music credit; I guess it will just pass through the cracks.
I realy like latin musik, but I cannot appreciate Manu Chao. I absolutely don't know what made this music famous.
thanks but no thanks "> :P

I just love this album. And the intro here was great! " This station, dull, boring, dull" Latin reggae is fun fun fun!
There's so much more to MC than this tune...
Um, no.
