Sometimes you dislike a singer on first hearing, and this is one such for me, sadly. His voice hurts my lugholes and made me leap for the mute and escape to the blessed relief of my iTunes library. A shame because other BoDeans stuff is quite good, IMO. 2 from the Nottingham jury.

Um, what's a lughole?  And "Joe DIrt Car" has some very good stuff on it. Also - Sammy has done some fine backup vocals for Jackson Browne ("Miles Away")... It'd be so cool if Bill could work all this stuff together somehow. I'm too tired to plan a playlist...

I think that is an accurate and fair assessment.{#Yes}

Okay, I sorta hear the resemblance... But I don't find it boring or tedious.  Still, the BoDeans have much better songs than this one. I put both CDs from "Joe Dirt Car" in my car CD player, and they're still in rotation, after six months. Too many good songs on that two-CD album to surrender to a switch-out.

I was never a huge fan of the BoDeans, but seeing as they are local (Milwaukee WI) and I have now seen them in concert 3 times, I have grown to be fond of them. Plain ole fun music.

When I decided to learn the guitar, I bought their song books.  I love their music,
especially Going Home.  Yes, I can now play the guitar.

Great Band Great Song but prefer the rendition of this from their Double Album ...''Joe Dirt Car''

{#Whistle}#8,,just for the album name !

lead singer sucks (nothing that a good nasal operation wouldn't cure).  when you can't hear him over everyone else, it's a decent little song.

I happen to like this song.

Bill, what's going on! Don't you know that choiceimage likes this song! Please play more often!

Very good song from a great Wisconsin band with lots of history.  BoDeans draw huge crowds where ever they play.  I'd love to hear more of their music on RP.

A good sound, but I can\'t say the same thing \'bout the song. The melody ain\'t that strong.
I really don\'t like this song.
I generally like these folks but this is not a nice song.
run, run, runaway.
