Send me your position
It's getting lonely down here
Things I've been up to lately
Have kept me from seeing clear
Why do you keep on running
This love is fading way to fast
All the stars are burning (for you)
But none of them is going to last
So stop chasing the past
As soon as the storm is over
And all the fog is clear
As soon as the storm is over
I've promised to send out for you
It's getting lonely down here
Things I've been up to lately
Have kept me from seeing clear
Why do you keep on running
This love is fading way to fast
All the stars are burning (for you)
But none of them is going to last
So stop chasing the past
As soon as the storm is over
And all the fog is clear
As soon as the storm is over
I've promised to send out for you

He promised to send out for me, yet without blind fate he still wouldn't.
Can't ever go wrong with a bit of Jośe G
I always think this guy is José Feliciano ... for a second ...

I agree!
I'm afraid I just can bear the treatment of his voice.
I agree!
Why, was he arrested?

It struck me the same way too, suesblues. Though I cannot say I find ND to be overplayed anywhere, even here on RP.
To me, it reminds me initially of Nick Drake, without the overplayed oozing sentimentality, so I like the acoustic simplicity of this song

I'm afraid I just can bear the treatment of his voice. Breathy mumbling just does do it for me, no matter how nice the fret work.

Good catch....I agree. Same feel to the whole song, too.
Guitar very reminiscent of (prescient to?) Crosby and Nash's "Lay Me Down."

Appropriate set as I have a thunderstorm blowing on my head at the moment here in Valbonne France.

Is the title of this album really "Crosses ep"? Huh?

He does a nice cover of "Heartbeats" too (originally a Knife song).
I like this guy! His Teardop cover is really coo too.

Does he sound a bit like Christopher Cross? (It's been a long time since I've heard CC.)

I like this a lot. It's real chill.
