Ignore the haters. William, thank you for playing Faithless. They filled a gaping hole in the Trip Hop Genre as Massive Attack was winding down. They were truly genre bending. I would call them progressive Trip Hop. No Roots was a brilliant thematic masterpiece.  Rhythmic and driving but also very melodic. Great vocals from Maxi Jazz (RIP) and Dido. Later albums included mesmerizing vocals by Zoe Johnston. What ever happened to her anyway? BTW, I'm a 60s plus white dude so don't assume.

Gee fred.  This one must hurt coming from un verdadero Scottish Viking (though ya never know, his genes could come from all over Europe).

I am good with the spoken word in music.  Leonard Cohen, perhaps?  Steven Wilson does spoken word in his rock ballads rather well but hey I could be partial.  

I am not that fond of most 'rap'.  Must be going on 97 .....

Rollo Armstrong, a member of Faithless, is Dido's brother. So yes, those are Dido's vocals; she's been in other work by him as well, and he helped her with her first 3 albums.

Maybe you like it cuz this is nowhere NEAR Trance, or even Techno. I happen to like Trance (just as I like RP's portfolio of music) and think I know a little bit about it. This ain't the same shit dude! 8) This song could be classified as dance with (some) trance elements. Like it nevertheless!!
