Everybody wants to tell thier neighbors how to live But nobody wants to listen to how they feel
Geez, this is really rich from a song that's pretty peachy to begin with. Why don't you start at home Mr. Franti?
oh so mellow... drifting into enlightenment... love is enough...
"Believe in co-existence." What loathsome treacle.

Off this album, yeah...But I STILL introduce my poetry unit at school with "Speaking of Tongues."
"Love like your life depends on it - because it does!"

Another Franti upload added. Probably my favourite track off this album.

Like every Franti song ever, as far as I can tell. He lacks any nuance.
He just speaks sincerely from the heart. Nuance does not apply here.

Apparently this passes for humour around Ravenna, Italy.
Amen....

Even more, the chords to Dear God by XTC! Exactly!
That's what I heard too. I was thinking it was an acoustic version of Dear God right up until he started singing. Still, I wonder if this was intentional. Dear God was one of the most controversial songs of its time, so perhaps Franti wanted to get a bit of that going here...

Chords from While my guitar gently weeps repeating and repeating and repeating and repeating and repeating and repeating and repeating... (yawning...)

He is not trying for nuance. This is wartime. A time for in your face commentary, not nuance.
It's okay but I can't stand the chorus.
I thought this was Martin Sexton (not a bad thing).

This sounds like a late night stoned jam... not that there's anything wrong with that... Just that it never gets to a chorus... not that I've ever had any experience with that...
