New Age is Old Age now, and this is neither...
I haven't heard this in a decade. still rules so much
The album name is "Pocket Symphony"?

Is that like "Pocket Pool"?

John Hiatt sings about it, in reference to the devil playing pocket pool,  waiting for the next poor fool, who forgot that it was Sunday.

bliss
GREAT TUNE!  Beam me up, Scotty!  Thanx RP!

It's a time warp thing, ala Bill & Ted's (Most) Excellent Adventure and Mr. Peabody's Wayback Machine.

Agreed about the first half and good-to-know about the second half.

Terrific song.

I'll bet the types of Jean-Paul Sartre, Althusser and Camus never ate baguettes, escargots or wore berets - that would have been much too gauche. I wonder if they were fond of grenouilles with their absinthe and gauloises, though :o)

Interesting to see that smoking Gauloises and drinking Pernod is "cool" across the channel. Still this tune rocks. Huit points également! ;-)
...oh, two can play...

{#Cheers}  Very lovely.  Light and airy... let's drink some wine and chill.

Every time I see the title, I think of my toaster oven

Was listening for a few minutes without knowing the title of the song, and had a guess this is Air.
Obviously, it is :)
A good thing: these have their style.
A bad one: maybe too repetitive.

Man has this been a weird day at RP or what? The music's been unusually unusual. A lot of stuff I've never heard. Some good, but a lot just nervy. But oh well at least listening to what I don't like makes me understand what I do like. ZEN MOMENTS. This stuff Air is nice, very nice.
...i kind of hear porcupine tree...
Well, I like it.
IT'S THE POCKET POOL ALBUM!
Has anyone else noticed that the opening rhythm seems to be pretty much the same as the rhythm used in many parts of the Battlestar Galactica score?

AIR is a good thing . . .

Definitely not my favorite genre of music. I was totally prepared not to like, but there is something about this song that makes that impossible. Thanks Bill and Rebecca once again for expanding my horizons.

IMHO, this work is stronger than the previous CD. Or maybe it's because Bill burned me out on "Cherry Blossom Girl" and "Alone in Kyoto"....
Personally I prefer Talkie Walkie with its lush arrangements and solid lyrics.

Right ... You are probably referring to Eulogy ... which, by the way, was recorded over ten years before this.
This album is great to work to... nice to hear in the RP mix :)
Fantastic band and track!

Great track. Funny though when it first started the percussion sound made me think that it was Did you Steal my Sunshine by Len.... I was certainly glad to be wrong!
If you had been right, at least something fun and energetic would've played.
Houston, we have a problem...

A m a z i n g ...!! Floating, drifting, colours, spaces, space-time... That's music for brain, body and soul... - only much too short!
I keep liking what I hear from this album.
Excellent follow up to Hooverphonic's No More Sweet Music....I'm in sensory overload! And that's a good thing
Excellent opening track from a surprisingly solid album - I find it very hard to pick out any individual tracks, everything flows in unity from one song to another. I find it very pleasant.

Do what I did, get an Airport Express. Works like a champ. :) This is a cool track, wouldn't have guessed it was Air.
Good sonic environment.
thank you
I see dead people ...
Picked up the CD on the weekend, well worth the price. Brilliant work again!
Had to figure this new CD from Air would start getting heavy rotation on RP- I grabbed it as soon as it came in- and it is still playing on my car's CD player- it is a gem...
weak floydy less than pink references everywhere!
Sadly mediocre.
I was waiting so bad for this new work... and I have to tell you that maybe is not as good as talkie walkie.... there are some good songs, but I think only the half of this record is a good job. They're anyway f...ing good musicians!!!!

Yup, me too love air!
That was a remarkably fitting follow-up to Pink Floyd - Welcome To The Machine...
Love it!
Thank you so much for playing this.
wickedawesome
Funny how "Air" can be a very cool band name, yet "Air Supply" is so very very very bad.
Blown away! This might be the first non-local band's CD that i've actually paid for in years!
