The hole in me
I cannot reach
The one who bleeds
Please set him free
The hole in me
The hole in me
That no one sees
The hole too deep
Inside of me
What have I done?
Treat me tonight like a movie star
Who'll never die
Always surrounded by girls like you
Kill all my loneliness
Kill all my loneliness
The hole in me
That never sleeps
Born with me
It's killing me
What have I done?
Treat me tonight like a movie star
Who'll never die
Always surrounded by girls like you
Kill all my loneliness
Kill all my loneliness
I cannot reach
The one who bleeds
Please set him free
The hole in me
The hole in me

That never sleeps

What have I done?

Who'll never die
Always surrounded by girls like you
Kill all my loneliness
Kill all my loneliness

Wilson's melodies are criminally simple but oh so good.
gorgeous album cover art
Do not play Blackfield much anymore but it is a treat on occasion.
Part of the song reminds me of this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=yDDdZnx38Lg
Always "outstanding".
Always good to hear some Blackfield on RP. During their recent concert (2014) in Amsterdam, Steven Wilson mentioned that his involvement in Blackfield was already getting less and will end, so I'm curiuos how that will go.
Stellar.
Outstanding what a 2 minute song can do for you!
Nice that Bill is playing some other Blackfield tunes now.
Another delightful piece from Steve Wilson and company. I love the complexity and underlying diversions. Wonderful!
Typically complex and layered, and musically and lyrically intriguing. Steve Wilson doesn't disappoint. 8 from the captivated Nottingham jury.
Not the best off this disk. I run about 50/50 love/meh with this release. S'ok. though.
'Blackfield,' 'Pain,' 'Hello' and the killer 'Scars' are my favorites.

I'm definitely a hooked latecomer
