I had the joy of seeing Washed Out live this summer at Firefly Music Festival...the sky was amazing; the evening, summer sun was coming through puffy clouds onto the audience and stage which made their music feel even more epic than usual. It was the last day of the festival, so most people were hanging out, relaxing on blankets for their set, and I felt bad at times because the applause was so subdued after each of their songs, but it was because they were putting all of us in this amazing trance-like state.  Great band, great show!
