That look
Read about it in an old book
Never really thought that it would
Mean a thing to me
This heart
I can only take it so far
I can only drive this old car
As far as I can see
Didn’t I love you good enough
Oh didn’t I
Didn’t I make all the walls come down
Oh didn’t I
As long as I live
I’ll be wearing this one
Medal on my vest just
For loving someone
I already guessed
What you’re gonna tell me
So gimme your best
‘cos I’m wearing this one
Bullet in my chest
Just for loving someone
I already guessed what
You’re gonna tell me
But could you tell me tomorrow
Tell me tomorrow
Red line
Guess we really crossed it this time
I don’t even know what’s still mine
I don’t even want it anyways
Didn’t I love you good enough
Oh didn’t I
I guess I couldn’t make
All the walls come down
Why couldn’t I
As long as I live
I’ll be wearing this one
Medal on my vest just
For loving someone
I already guessed
What you’re gonna tell me
So gimme your best

Dolly Parton + Stevie Nicks - any soul whatsoever = this song

I just did the same thing. Figured there was a Stevie Nicks song I somehow missed.

This song is like American Cheese, too heavily processed. She has thrown in a bit of
Sinéad O'Connor, a smattering of Stevie Nicks, rendered with formulaic southern belle style. Unfortunately, she doesn't have the inherent voice of either Sinéad or Stevie, just a pretty face surrounded by poof.

I was thinking Natalie Merchant... until I saw comments about Stevie Nicks

You guys are calling this country because of that bit of folky warble in her voice or what? Honestly, I hear nothing "country" about this song...
You know a rock and roller is on their death bed when they start liking country.
not really sure this one should become an RP regular. kind of combines the worst of country and pop.
New to me but like the sound. Like to hear more. Good find Bill!
I'm likin' it! Chair dancin' right now in my office.
Sounds good... Never heard about this singer before...
