Bring me back to life
Never let me go
Your troubles and your hard strife
I saw them
Take me by the hand
As we cross through battlefields
Nobody understands
'Cause there's nobody at the wheel

Beautiful James
I don't wanna wake you
Beautiful James
I don't wanna wake you

Everybody lies
One hundred times a day
The silence in your hard eyes
Is far too rare to give away
And it's exactly why I stay

Beautiful James
I don't wanna wake you
Beautiful James
I don't wanna wake you
(Don't wanna wake you)
Beautiful James
(Don't wanna wake you)
I don't wanna wake you
(Don't wanna wake you)
Beautiful James
(Don't wanna wake you)
I don't wanna wake you

Though I may have to
I may have to
I may have to

(Don't wanna wake you)
Beautiful James
(Don't wanna wake you)
I don't wanna wake you
(Don't wanna wake you)
Beautiful James
(Don't wanna wake you)
I don't wanna wake you

Called Paleo Festival by the way. I'm seeing them next month in Schaffhausen!
....sounds like Marianne Faithfull....

Just WTF is going on out there? "Oh, I have a personal injury! I think I'll hire a lawyer named 'Sweet James' 'cuz he's got a cool name and an 800 number!"

This feels like a bad in-joke.

Reminds me of a guy I knew in high school. Dayton was a natural comic and had the whole goofy stoner act down pat. He was also voted president of his class because of this Ferris-Bueller-OTL schtick.

So he went off to college. Once again, class president. Then a so-so law school where yeah you guessed it he was class president.

A nice guy, got along with everyone. But I remember thinking, "You've done this 'dude, for sure bro' act all your life. And now you expect people to take you seriously and pay big money for your careful diligence and legal expertise?"

Maybe Dayton's a partner in LA. PT Barnum was right, I guess.
Malko's lyrics are amazing. Pure rhyming poetry.  And great melodies. He loves mentioning Snowflakes, and not ones from the sky.  Saw them live in 2007 and met them at a meet and greet after. Not many were in line, so we chatted a while. Nice guys.
Another beatiful transition from ELO's Can't get it out of my head.   Just lovely.

Total porn stache. But Brian is like a chameleon, He looks totally different every time you see him. Shaved head, long hair, wearing a skirt, Page Boy  etc. Everything changes but his vocals!
i hope he didn't wake james.

this song is terribly annoying.
gay?

Yeah, seems a dodgy claim to me.

I'd put it much higher.
A very good song. Thanks R.P. (florin.from.transsylvania)

Poor James, he can't get any sleep!

BTW, this sounds an awful lot like the band "James".
I find this band has the same effect on me as the real one. Very nice.

Now that you mention it there is a similar tone there, but I knew it was Placebo immediately.  Good to see a new one from them.

Definitely like his voice.   Going with a 7 rating on first listen.

Such a long break since the last album! Very excited to hear the whole thing -- even their weaker albums have some song that totally blows me away. "Too Many Friends" on the last one I listened to constantly after my grandmother died.
Cool song. I like the driving feel and the synth hook.
Great to see them back.  Immediate 7 straight out of the box and sure to climb.  Thanks again RP.
Good Tune! I never heard of them before. Thanx RP!
