Pretty girls don't cry, they know exactly what they want.
Pretty girls walk by, with eyes that smile faces that haunt.
I watch them walk I wonder, turn away I try but I can't find words to say I know that you
don't love me but I'm watching you.
Pretty girls don't cry, they know exactly what to do.
Pretty girls walk by, but they won't ever smile at you.
I watch them walk I wonder, turn away I try but I can't find words to say I know that you
don't love me but I'm watching you.
Pretty girls don't cry, they know exactly what they want.
I watch them walk I wonder, turn away I try but I can't find words to say I know you've heard
it all before but I'm watching you.
I'm watching you, I'm watching you........

Pretty tune, but it is an Incel Anthem.
Gross. This song is why women don't trust men.

Chris Isaak has been one of my favorite artists for the past 20 years. Talented and a joy to listen to.
Bill clearly has a man crush on Isaak.
Saw this guy in 1984 when he was doing local joints in SF area. He put on great show back then as well. Cross between Elvis and Roy.

Kind of sick weird lyrics tho ... Please?
Bill: this is a good song. Why once a month?
Just saw his live concert last week. What an entertainer! If ever in your town, go see him. You will walk out, amazed!

I'd do him.
This is just so pretty. The guitar reminiscent of Hawaiian slack key, his voice so smooth yet filled with thrilling rawness, somehow all mellow and just luvlee. Mmmmmmmmm.....

I just can't get past this guys voice. Makes me think of dogs howling.

I understand your statement...and agree, but for a second I thought you were repeating a Deep Thoughts by Jack Handy quote.
ex: If a kid asks where rain comes from, I think a cute thing to tell him is "God is crying." And if he asks why God is crying, another cute thing to tell him is "Probably because of something you did."
When my son is older, I will encourage him to learn how to play the guitar. And, if he protests, I will play this song and explain that he should learn the instrument, if only to woo women.

Put this entire album on your ipod...go to Mexico...buy a six of Corona...and just chill on the beach with your hotty(or wife..or maybe your wife's a hotty))....you'll thank me later.

This is a good CD. You can almost see the players in their sweaty tanktops, rickety ceiling fan, drinking warm beer ...
Be still my heart.
that voice really caught my ear. will have to investigate the roy o. allegation.

Chris is perhaps the only legitimate heir to the Orbison throne. Roy being one of the all time tough acts to follow.
Isaak is quite good - but still no cigar. If you listen *real* close the main body of the voice is just a bit weaker than Roy's. Roy was the master - there was a reason he was venerated by fans and musicians alike. He had a once-in-a-generation-or-more voice.
If there ever had been a Roy Orbison and Patsy Cline duet I think many fans would have died from the sheer emotion of hearing those two great emotive singers together.

Thumbs up. Sincere, clean sound. He, of course, killed the girls with his major hit. That video . . . nasty.
Elvis-ish to boot

Excellent. I'll probably buy this album.

There's an excellent cover of "only the Lonely" on this album, incidentally.
So did I!
