Kinda weird, but I like it.

This is weird. I don't like it.

Perfect word to describe this tune. Great word "twee", I'm going to be looking for opportunities to use it.

That's reasonable.

I was trying to decide if it sounded like either the Future Islands guy or an old lady soul singer way past her prime who doesn't have the pipes anymore but still has the chops to do whatever the F she wants...

For a moment I thought I heard Adam Sandler getting ready to sing something ridiculous...

The horns are great though.
Liked the orchestration. Hated the way he "uses" his voice.
this is one of those numbers that makes me think I hope the next song is good

but anyway - it has some charme...

Yes, there are some similarities in their singing styles, though Kurt Wagner doesn't do that "crackly voice" thing as frequently as this guy did.

I'm liking this a bit, although I can't shake the "Tom Waits + a few octaves" - oh well, I'll rate at 6 and see when BillG plays again in the mix.  Long Live RP!!

Shari Lewis' lil lambchop?

he did photograph poorly for this CD, looks kind of puppety
creepy

What the hell is this crap??
He sounds like someone's grandpappy.

A. Morrisey has a lot of talent, scads of it. B. Morrissey is a great songwriter... C. Morrissey gives the impression he thinks so highly of himself that he scarcely needs me to do the same, so I don't. That being said, I love a lot of the stuff he and The Smith's have done... but as a person, Morrisey, the poser, annoys me to no end. Cheers Jacques Radio Paradise:
I think you may have Steven Patrick Morrissey in mind... not Bill Morrissey. Both talented, but only one played with The Smiths.
Morrissey's such a funny guy.

Bill Morrissey writes great stuff, but he should have become a rap artist with his voice. Samiyam
I like the music okay, but I don\'t really care for this guy\'s voice.
