This version is too clean. Sounds like a lounge-act Little Feat cover. Dead version better. You need that Billy/Mickey rhythm section (and hopefully not Bruce Cockburn on keyboards, ick!)

Actually, The version I first heard and loved the best is by Harry Belafonte from his Live at Carnegie Hall album

I'm so glad there has been this "renaissance" of Robert Palmer on RP, I have throughoutly enjoyed the music I have heard from prior to the 80's "Didn't mean to turn you on" Palmer.
