I wholeheartedly agree. And her voice brings me to some paradise-like state. Yowzaa. I was just thinking I'd like to meet her and Neil Finn in Heaven.

Definitely has a JW sound.
And I thought it was Joni Mitchell...
I like Beth Nielsen Chapman -I've been buying her albums for a decade. Her music is chick music, though.
Lovely voice
Any relation to Mary Nielsen Chapman Carpenter?
(flame away)
I hear a little Joni Mitchell similarity...
"coming in from the cold" song

Me too - thought for a moment it was JW (whose voice I adore).
Pretty all the same

On this fluff-flick soundtrack.
Reminded me of Baez...

I totally agree. I clicked on the site to see if it was a new JW cd.

This is a really good song - but I really, really love Patty Griffin/Emmylou Harris's version.
Wow! Those two have a version of this?? On what CD? We sang this song at a family memorial service--it's very powerful in that respect.

Me three... I'm not totally sure I like this person's voice...it's a bit
too warbly for my taste...

The title track of this album is really moving--though it's probably a little slow and folky to get uploaded successfully here--and I like some of the rest of the tracks, including this one. Pretty good songwriter.
