Days, how many days
Do I have until
I am set free to a better place
A place of love
A place of no tomorrow's

Release me from this need I have of me

Hours, how many hours
Do I have until
I am set free to a better place
A place of no misery

Release me from this need I have of me

When will you believe me
When I say these things to you
No one likes a liar baby
No one at all
When will you receive me
When I say these things to you
No one likes a liar baby
No one at all

I guess I have something to look forward to
I guess I have something to look forward to

When will you believe me
When I say these things to you
No one likes a liar baby
No one at all
When will you receive me
When I say these things to you
No one likes a liar baby
No one at all

No one likes a liar baby
No one at all

I assumed he was referring to Death, but I'll listen more closely to the lyrics next time.

I got death too...not the dentist.
Vocals, guitars and drums: 8. Lyrics and arrangement: 7. Synth strings: 3.
Always love me some VAST.
does his voice slightly remind of the voice of james duglas's?

careful what you ask for.....definitely an acquired taste

One of the best albums of the 80s. I still listen to "Modern Industry" when I need a jump.

never mind the style - how's the tune - does it have integrity, truth and soul - these are my criteria

this song - unfortunately does not

Calling it overproduced is like calling Santana heavy on the guitar.
Regardless of whether or I not I agree with your statement, I must say that was a great anology. Maybe I've just been spending too much time on mountain biking forums where people can't spell or express thoughts of any depth.

Overproduced? VAST is performed (not samples) and mixed entirely by Jon Crosby. He blends, samples and plays. THATs what his music is, and obviously you don't get it.. Calling it overproduced is like calling Santana heavy on the guitar.

i must have been asleep from 2000 until 2003, i love this song. and have not heard of the band.
VAST is essentially Jon Crosby's project, not so much a band. But you should definetly check out his most recent, Nude, and first, Visual Audio Sensory Theater...and now that I look further down the page I see I've said almost this same thing already

This my favorite song on this Album...
Something to look forward to would be the end of this song!

It's not a Band
Good music. Bad voice. Don't know yet what I should rate it.
Gotta love RP for playing VAST (Visual Audio Sensory Theatre). I would of thought that this group would be a sure reject here (Tnx for proving me wrong!).

Most excellent....
Between this and 'touched' I have, once again, found yet another gem of an act on RP. Thanks serene!
I uploaded a bunch of songs from Nude a few months ago, its been at reviewing status for quite some time.
good song from the great Jon Crosby...who's most recent album, Nude, is fantastic and I hope to hear some stuff from that here soon!
Oh good, someone else appreciates this band!!!!
Wow, you picked my song. Right on!!! An amazing band and an amazing song.
