When I was in high schooll in N.J. , these guys had a contest to see who had the the most school spirit and votes. The winner had the Hooters play at their school. We lost. Oh well, they suck anyway.

B.) not that it would be a big scandal if they were but..They were not a "Christian" band I had the album with some of their biggest hits on it and they had no religious "message" I believe you are remembering their hit "all you Zombies" which has some references to Moses etc... but in the last verse, The speaker angrily says seemingly to God..."Holy Father what's the matter, where have all your children gone, sittin in the dark, livin all by themselves,You don't have to hide anymore!" ...I submit that this is hardly a lyric that Jerry Falwell would be comfortable with.
