I swim like a fish in the sea
All the time
But if that's what it takes to be free
I don't mind
Still is still moving to me
Still is still moving to me
And it's hard to explain how I feel
It won't go in words
But I know that it's real
I can be moving or I can be still
But still is still moving to me
Still is still moving to me
love toots and maytals...willie not so sure of on this one. Must have been a bunch of smoke...
agree 100%
I like this. I like the melody. I like the differences of their 2 voices.
It grooves. Just bumped the rating.
My only complaint is it's too short.

I like both iced tea and beer, but getting a mouthul of one when you expect the other is jarring in a visceral way for a second or two.

Hahaha!
Unless I'm reading this wrong this is a highly prejudiced comment.
Not the sort of thing I want to see here
I was in a studio many years ago when a friend was recording a reggae tune. The atmosphere was transcendental.
Let me guess, it was so thick you had to cut it with a WEEDwhacker! 😆
I can only imagine what the studio smelled like that day!

I would never go so far as to say "white people can't do reggae" or even "white guys from Texas with a twang can't do reggae," but this track is irrefutable evidence that Willie Nelson can't do reggae.
He's embarrassing me.
Is this Willie's dealer? Maybe he couldn't pay for his dope, so he had to do this.

But somehow I'm finding it entertaining. I'm not even a big fan of either artist, but somehow, this is fun.

I like Willie Nelson, but this is not good
If you listen to it as background music, it's perfect to me.
In a similar vein, just as silly, just as incongruent, and just as fun, is one of the duets Willie did with Snoop Dog, Superman. Old guy is pretty cool.
yeah i agree its awkward, but somehow it works
This right after the Happy Monday tune I'd not heard before either.

Nope, he probably supplied it for them since he has his own product.
I was just thinking along those lines... Johnny Cash is a god but I don't know if even he could pull off reggae.

: ) Super Cowboy Willie
Well Bill and Baby M....
You have a point, but at least Willie tries without ego. And sometimes he tries again. Look at what he started out with music-wise. He changed directions and may live long enough to do so again.
I can't believe it hasn't been played since 2010? Go figure....
I wonder what Toots and Willie found in common Can't imagine...
To this day no one can screw-up the vocal smoothness of a song like Willlie Nelson.
I put Willie and Neil Young in the self-same, "Can someone buy me some voice lessons?" category.
I would whole heartedly agree. They both run biodiesel!!!
I wonder what Toots and Willie found in common
I wonder what Toots and Willie found in common no doubt.
I wonder what Toots and Willie found in common Shampoo & Scissors come to mind . . .
Yeah, it took a second to adjust but then it wasn't too bad.

I wonder what Toots and Willie found in common Never thought I'd give anything with Willie Nelson more than a 1. Big surprise. 6 from the Nottingham jury. Nice one, Toots.
Yes! Worser and worser! Oy...
I am agreed 100% Rob. Just when I thought Raggae couldn't get more annoying... add Willie Nelson's voice, which I usually like. Here though... ::shudder::
Love the the drums!

This is a ridiculous conversation. Do you think Toots felt Willie couldn't do reggae when he recorded this with him? If he has Toots' (and the Maytals') endorsement, then Willie most definitely CAN do reggae and so can anyone else. Reggae, as with every other artform, is open to expression by any human who chooses that medium. If you don't understand that, you don't understand art
