Can you believe this is 24 years old? I remember David Dye could not get enough of this album on World Cafe and played Basement Apt. all the time.

Another one of Canada's great female singer/songwriters. The whole album is a great listen.
She is, indeed, great in concert. I could listen to this song all the day. She also has a great cover of Trouble in the Fields that I think is a little more haunitng than Nanci Griffith's version.
First heard this song shortly after I went through a divorce - always thought my ex-wife could have written it word for word.

Love the whole album. She's great in concert too ---- some amazing harmonies that the disc doesn't do justice to.
