RP can update the album cover at their convenience. The version of Visions of You they're playing is indeed from 1991 but from the Jah Wobble album Rising Above Bedlam. The cover currently showing is from the 2006 album Jah Wobble and the English Roots Band which also features Visions of You with Sinead but it's a 9 minute long re-recording.
RP's album art database is a mess; it may be irretrievable at this point. BUT are you sure this isn't an edit with Sinead? Because everyone hears her.
Wait. Do I hear Sinead O'Connor on this? I guess it is her. Sounds great. 7—>8

Wonderful song - a classic now. How come no lyrics...?
Came across these. They seem accurate to me.
[Jah Wobble:]
I'm not numbed out anymore
Not longer filled with hate and pain
No longer drenched in shame
I'm not numbed out anymore
Now I am the key to the door
The kingdom of heaven lies inside
Makes a circle with the turning tide
Now the circle is complete
And the heart and mind they meet
The kingdom of heaven lies inside
[Jah Wobble & Sinéad O'Connor:]
I love visions of you endlessly
I love visions of you endless
[Jah Wobble:]
It's a vision for me and for you
Hell can be a circle too
Repetition unbroken
The truth remains unspoken
A vision for me and for you
[Jah Wobble & Sinéad O'Connor:]
I love visions of you endlessly
I love visions of you endlessly
I love visions of you endlessly
I love visions of you endlessly
I love visions of you endlessly
I love visions of you endlessly
[Jah Wobble:]
I'm not numbed out anymore
No longer filled with hate and pain
No longer drenched in shame
I'm not numbed out anymore
Now I am the key to the door

That bass is amazing...
Well he WAS PIL's bassist... listen for his contributions on the 1st two albums.
She's the new(ish) Michael McDonald - always great when backing someone else
No comparison there garrettb. Sinead has the voice of an angel. I can't stand McDonald's vocals. He ruined the Doobie's

The one and only! What a unique voice she had. I love everything she recorded. RIP Sinead. Jah is playing a very catchy bass line in this one.

Is there anyone Sinead has not worked with? She can turn any track into something special.

Love it and espec. if this is Sinead O'Connor backing who has such a gifted voice - slainte
She may have a screwing life but she sure can sing. Up Fermanagh.
I like this song. This entire album, along with his album Take Me To God, is good, listenable stuff. And kinda eclectic like RP!
Inspiration of William Blake is also interesting.

The bassline is rock solid too.
That bass is amazing...
Sinéad let me almost klick the next-track button. What an annoying voice.
The bassline is rock solid too.
Does Bill Laswell have any music with tabla in it?

It sounds pretty good -- not great.
But I'm glad to make its acquaintance.
That's why RadioParadise is so amazing. I know I'll hear something out of left field if I listen for a little while.
Thanks, Bill.

Nope, I spotted RH as well.

Bought this cassette in Istanbul in 1992 and wandered much with my Walkman.
Good soundtrack for a very trippy city.

I moved here in '91 from NYC. LOVED HFS. They did a good job programming.
Does anyone remember WLIR (aka WDRE) in NYC? There was a comparable station in Central/Southern NJ, can't remember the call letters but they were high on the dial.
She has always reminded me of a couple of my ex-girlfriends — intense, crazy, and doomed.
You and me both, brother. I wonder why I date crazy women and then I remember that the normals are boring.

This song is cool...
One of my favourites. Soooo good for the ears.
If anyone has the credits for this recording, I'd be interested to know who actually played in this tune.

But it makes my jaw wobble!
Yes indeed.
It's an interesting album by a former member of PiL.
Makes you want to sing karaoke?
The Michael Caine of music.
ROTFL - name a movie that doesn't have him OR Gene Hackman! I swear 50% do.
makes you want to grab the 3" platforms and sequined bodysuit from your closet?

And that affect would be, perhaps a rush of blood to a certain region of the body?

Sinead is a hard worker. She shows up on albums from Afrocelts to Massive Attack.
Love her voice, and have enjoyed all her collaborations so far.
That got me thinking. Wardle's a competent bassist, so I always assumed he played his own bass lines. However, a couple of minutes research has revealed to me that he and Laswell have worked together; John has contributed bass work to Laswell, and vice versa.
If anyone has the credits for this recording, I'd be interested to know who actually played in this tune.

Nice.
