As soon as I heard this I knew it would fit this weekend very nicely.

What a disappointment to move from Christy Moore to KT Tunstall. Just because they are both about horses doesn't mean they have anything else in common and really broke the bliss I was in following Christy's smooth lyrical sound. What a rude awakening....

I saw her play live and perform this song, and the "kazoo" at the end is actually a sound she makes with her mouth. If anyone ever has the chance she is amazing to see in person.
Ironic as it may be - given that this is a one-woman-band - but less would much more here.

lester is right. In her live performances, the woo-hoo's (and everything else) are looped samples she does of herself. By the time she's added a bunch of different layers, the woo-hoo's are sort of an afterthought. It's pretty impressive to see her put it all together. Haven't gotten to see her live yet, but she's coming to Indy in February or March of next year and I'm excited. If you do a search on video.google.com for KT Tunstall, they have a live performance of this as well as a cover of "I Want you Back" by the Jackson 5. Good stuff!
(Edit) Hmm...clapping at the end would suggest this IS live. But in all the performances I have seen, the woo-hoo's aren't as prominent.

THIS IS NOT THE ORIGINAL VERSION ON THE ALBUM. For what's it's worth I much prefer the real version.
She's wearing some sort of floppy boots in the Later... episode. I digg women in boots;)
Even better live. If the Later w/Jools comes on Ovation again you've got to see it (thats where the live version was recorded). All of that sound is KT and and loop effect box. Can't wait for a U.S. Tour.

I assume this was the accoustic version off the album that she sang on a BBC show called "Later" - if it is, then you should know that she sang this version live, solo. All the voices and backing are KT - she was using a little foot operated loop/sampler thingummy - she made it all look deceptively easy - a great live performance. Love this song from an up and comer on the British music scene. KT Tunstall's CD is only available as an import from Amazon..but as soon as I get the 35 bucks to order it, I so am. This song and "Other Side of the World" are brilliant.
