I really don't give a flying doughnut whether the mouth-breathing fans of this band come on to tell me that I "don't really know what good music is," but, holy crap, this is awful.
Were it not for the strength of "Rush of Blood...", I doubt this song would be on the RP playlist.
people are often quick to judge Coldplay. Obviously those who post comments on this site know enough about "good" music but I often find that we are quick to doubt or downplay the artistic styles of a popular "good" music group/singer.
Coldplay has made some amazing tunes. I myself am not a fan of X&Y but absolutely love Rush of Blood !

BECAUSE THE RP'RS ARE TOO "ECCLECTIC" FOR COLDPLAY. GOOD MUSIC IS GOOD MUSIC... I ACTUALLY LOVE THESE GUYS....IN SMALL DOSES....
Not a single kind comment on this number, and I can hear why. So how can it be rated a 5 (which is 6 too much)
Coldplay often shimmers, but this is quite forgettable.
There is so much worse music out there... why are so many RPers allergic to Coldplay?

Full of talent etc., but I just can not dig into the coldplay sound. Reminds me of another verion of 10,000 Maniacs, singer full of themselves and musical arrangements that have been done over and over again sounding like mud.
