"Sanctuary" from Turf is IMHO the most beautiful & spiritually intense Luka song. I uploaded 2 mths ago but it didn't make it thru the LRC!

How does he know dolphins are happy? What if they're all sad, and all that chittering is them trying to tell us how depressed they are; the whole time their message is undermined by the permanent grin built into their features. Sounds like a bummer to me.

"Sanctuary" from the Turf album is, imo, his most extraordinary track. The intensity is palpable. Well - it was written after & about the death of his Mother. Must upload it to the LRC!

A comedian also attributes the words "Jayzus I'm so hungry I could eat the arse of a horse through a hole in the hedge" to him. I can see where he gets it now... Mad.

Actually, I prefer this album and Riverside. They've got some "grittier" stuff. I'm not so keen on his more recent stuff - it's a little too predictable singer-songwriter kind of stuff, although when he lets loose, he plays a ripping guitar.

Oh! I love tuning into RP and hearing something completely unexpected. I remember finding this cassette at a second hand music store in Ottawa and listening to it over and over. What a great surprise -- thanks for playing.
