Yes! I can! I'm enjoying the hard-driving extra drumbeats, does a great job of enhancing the song without overpowering the original performance.
Also, the average rating from 680-some-odd people is 7.1, so apparently lots of other people can state that as well.
This is the first time I have heard this on RP and with any luck it will be the last. This dude is does not deserve to be heard here. Can anyone state that this is any way either an improvement or even a meagre simulacrum of anything that is good? I think not.

Original was better! ...lousy remix!
I like the original version better. Doesn't need the extra beats. It's the simplicity of this type of music that makes it good. And what happend to the "Delaware" Destroyers.. Must have moved or something.

Hey, while we're at it, the Doors' version on Absolutely Live is pretty good too.
So is Elise LeGrows' . Want to hearit without the Bo Diddley Dudley? Try hers.

Seen GT 5 times and the best was the 1st at the Prom Ballroom in St. Paul when he was still building his base. He, Billy B., Jeff Simon and the "new guy" Hurricane Hank rocked the place as the crowd got rowdier and rowdier. After that he still kicked, but still say that performance was the best of the 5.

The Jesus and Mary Chain's version is a fuzzfest masterpiece of this song.

Saw him open air 20 years ago. Don't remember nothing but that it was a lot of high powered fun.
More George on RP but another vote for the original....
See, it ain't hard to play R&R with a Bo Diddley beat on a Friday afternoon.
And that beat has a nice Buddy Holly tie-in.
RIP Buddy. The day the music died., Feb 3 , 1959.

If they were worse, they would have moved to CT.

A dance mix of George?
Not dance mix, just a little extra...
Great Song Made Better! Would Be An 8 But The Extra Makes It A 9
If you're not going to add anything original to this classic, apart from the horrible screaming yodelling, why do it? Why play it?
More George!
Lots of good rocking blues on his first two albums.
There are other versions I like better but it's still an 8
Awesome!
We're rockin' tonight!
We're rockin' tonight! It seems that George can only do a Bo Diddley beat...too monotoneous for me...sorry
A dance mix of George?

Need the original!!!!!!!!!!!
i still have the original LP. Saw him at the Cabooze. A great bar in its day....
