Loudspeaker cause a land slide
I have a room key and a Johnny
A good buzz, feeling all right
Pitch a tent, pop a top
Forget about what you ain't got
See the sites, sleep til night
Stamp your feet, turn out the lights
If you want to go where they chain up the sun
See Fernando, see Fernando
He'll buy a bottle of suds for you and everyone
See Fernando, see Fernando
If you're high strung or stressed out
Down in the dumps, been turned out
Stabilized, motorized
Insecure or fableized
Curious or furious
Picked apart like Prometheus
Legalized, penalized
Stamp your feet, dry out your eyes
If you want to go where they chain up the sun
See Fernando, see Fernando
He'll buy a bottle of suds for you and everyone
See Fernando, see Fernando
You've been Jezebeled, back from hell
Cooling off, feeling well
Tired of talking, talked out
Ticked off or toughed up
Too talled or backed up
Haven't made your mind up
TBD'd or TB'd
Tired of falling to your knees
If you want to go where they chain up the sun
See Fernando, see Fernando
He'll buy a bottle of suds for you and everyone
See Fernando, see Fernando
And if you want to go where they chain up the sun
See Fernando, see Fernando
He'll buy a bottle of suds for you and everyone
See Fernando, see Fernando
RP is a normal place for men to normal negative comments on women. 😎 think about it.
Okay please post an example because I scrolled back through a decade's worth of comments and find nothing that might apply.

Now I'll never be able to unhear it.
So I shouldn't then tell you I hear "Steve Fernando"?
Does anyone else hear "Ballroom Blitz" ?
It's that mad drum rhythm.

Ha! Ha! i can see that. Doesn't spoil this song for me though, i still think it's pretty good. Even though i'm now expecting, at some point, to hear "Ready Steve?"

Blatz is one of the worst beers that I have ever tasted! Thank God they stopped making it long ago! ...The beer that made Milwaukee sick! LOL!

"Any particular beer?"
"Schlitz. No Schlitz? Blatz. No Blatz? Improvise."

I never thought I'd hear of Blatz again. We wouldn't even drink it in college. The word was if you drank Blatz you'd get the blatz!
Marginally better than the ABBA song with a similar name to me.
I do. I also thought it was "Jive Talking" when it first started ...
I thought "fermented ball sweat" was the recipe for Blatz. (Plus bubbles.)

So been there done that, move on.
I think/hope/pray that Americans are indeed moving on to better beers but I think we all got stuck in the IPA phase. Talk about the need to move on...

You bet! Seeing him once a year hosting the Muscular Dystrophy Telethon was not nearly enough!

Mondegreen? Hellz, Fred, I think you're stroking out.

Cease and desist!
Suds is beer. Beer being frothy, or sudsy, if you're not careful when pouring into a glass, hence suds.

Sounds like my kind of woman. My favorite beer? Cold beer.

Nice frets.
I was thinking the same thing
Yes, the brat is Jenny Lewis. And the bear's name is Fernando.
"GO Jenny GO!!!" - go away!!!
I love Jenny!!!! ![]()

Jenny Lewis, you... look... mahvalous!
Such a great song!
Jenny Lewis makes me drool. I like her music too!

Let's just go ahead and make that 3 in a row shall we?!
Her coup de gracie is The Big Guns, plan to upload soon.
Me too! I second that 9.

Hehe, if the playlist were for sale, I suspect you'd be hearing alot less of Jenny Lewis than you are now. When was the last time you heard her on a Clear Channel station? However, if B&R WERE getting kickbacks from indie artists, I'd have to tip my hat to them. Nice job there guys ;)

See, the thing is, some things are greater than the sum of their parts. Not that I crave that particular Abba song, but I like it when Bill gets jiggy with the segueways (I apologize for referring to it as "getting jiggy". Not sure what I was thinking. Hope that doesn't invalidate the point I'm trying to make).
Anyhoo...
Segues are about 15-20% of my enjoyment of RP. I have a LOT of music available to me... theoretically I could just put my MP3 library on random. The experience would be MUCH less gratifying... even assuming I could add unknowns to the random mix. The human touch of making tracking decisions... even off-the-wall decisions, is valuable. All that being said, I doubt highly either hell or high water would "really" stop a segue if he thought it was a good idea. I consider it an idle threat... but I had to play along ;)
(I wonder why that other crap has received so much play on RP...)

Bill: No need to ever follow this up with Abba, thanks.

Please do. I missed it the past few times.
Jenny rocks out on this number. Great singer, great song.

Um-hmmmm...........

Dig this chick!

I'm liking this. And I'm not even a big Rilo fan.
