She's thunderstorms
Lying on her front
Up against the wall
She's thunderstorms
I've been feeling foolish
You should try it
She came and substituted
The peace and quiet for
Acrobatic blood flow
Concertina cheating heart beat
Rapid fire
She's thunderstorms
Lying on her front
Up against the wall
She's thunderstorms
Here is your host
Sounds as if she's pretty close
When the heat starts growing horns
She's thunderstorms
She's been loop the looping
Around my mind
Her motorcycle boots give me
This kind of acrobatic blood
Concertina cheating heart beat
Rapid fire
She's thunderstorms
Lying on her front
Up against the wall
She's thunderstorms
In an unusual place
When you're feeling far away
She does what the night does to the day
She's thunderstorms
Lying on her front
Up against the wall
She's thunderstorms
Thunderstorms

i like this as follow up to Love My Way. Hope to see Arctic Monkeys to see if the old comments hold up - are they still around?

Ah well, then you too should hear it live.
Very mediocre song from a great live-band!

Clever get.
We love Arctic Monkeys witty lyrics, guitars, and the English accent.

Monkey!
Not a great song, but not too bad either...I've heard worse. How's that for indecisive? How bout if I just inadvertently throw a huge bowl of cheese into the middle of a room and yell "Blimey...you blogs!" Doesn't make sense does it? Now that I do or don't have your attention...I will effectively exit. Sorry to have wasted your time...just like to watch myself type.

"Everybody" does not necessarily mean more than one. Just means all inclusive. So please forgive if our Romeotuma happens to be everybody, though that could still be quite a crowd after so much time in a Las Vegas hotel room...

i liked their earlier albums soooo much more...

Say, 'Tuma, how 'bout posting a photo of you and everybody there for all of us to enjoy. I took a poll of RP listeners and we all agree: we want to see your roomful of partiers! :-)

Mind you, when I was doing Chemistry as a kid, pipetting by mouth was the norm, and us poor school students didn't even know that you could do it any other way. I remember doing my Chemistry O Level practical and getting a mouthful of dilute sodium hydroxide which was pretty unpleasant, though it could have been worse. Maybe the disgusting reagents we all ingested at some point explains a lot about how I and my schoolmates turned out. Gibber, dribble, drool, gurgle....
"suck it and see"? c'mon lads, think about your health and safety now, is that really a good idea in the chemistry lab?

The voice of the singer reminds so much of Morissey though

Went to the last Lions game at Empire Stadium a couple of weeks ago, going to the first game Friday at the new BC Place, wife's birthday in a week etc., so the entertainment budget has been blown for the foreseeable future. Kings of Leon are also playing, so a better excuse would have been that I'm seeing them instead. Sadly, that's not the case.
My excuse is that I have to add $500 to the ticket price for the ferry and overnight accommodations. What's yours?

This is ok, it actually reminds me of The Smiths believe it or not which is fine for me but does not bode well for the bands future success!

As others said...thought it was morrissey I was listening to. Great tune. Definitely buying it.

When I listen I keep thinking, "Wow, Morrissey sounds so young!" But then I check & it's this band, LOL...I suppose there are worse things in the world than to sound like the great "Moz" ~ I'm a huge fan & I suppose this is the New Guard? I'm not hating...
If Morrissey and Green Day had a musical baby, this would be it.
Methinks the flash is outta the pan.

Sadly enough, the album title has apparently had stickers placed over it in large stores in some parts of the United States. Good song.

I agree on both counts. Reminds me of Morrissey's solo work.
I'm diggin' this. Has a bit of an alternative 80s sound to it.
