Like many of Patti Smith's songs, not easily accessible, but rewarding once you get there.

Yea, when he's on holiday from Wales. Just sayin' ;-)
Who’s playing guitar?
Awful.
Good poetry, lousy music.
Earth, Fire, Water and Air. Use the elements to activate communion with Spirit.
9>>>10
just because she's Patti
Abysmal

happens to like anything patti does, so put that in your pipe and smoke it.

For the love of god please no more!
The lyrics stopped me in my tracks.
Does this even count as music?
Was hoping TheWiseKing would've commented on this song.
similar to her Summer Cannibals

how did I get from Patti to being underpaid and overworked?  lol...

Scotland... I'll be there in just a few more weeks...

God's Country
Good Tune!
Always nice to hear things never heard before, but when a master like Patti does her thing...staggering.
Bowie and Prince - similar in their brilliance and willingness to stretch.  Cocker and Smith - similar in their energy, enthusiasm and rock purism.  So much fun.

Patti and Fred "Sonic" Smith
just finished reading her autobiography M Train, so I'm very happy to hear this here!
Very Symbolic:
on the play list just before Patti Smith 'Up There Down There' from album 'Dream of Life'
David Bowie
Prince
Joe Cocker

Pushed this from a 9 to a 10.

Yes to Patti!!!!!

If Patti could only sing!

Still love her music!

OK, "like" - not necessarily "looove"!

Master Patti Smith!
Her writings, rockin songs and ballads, there's so much that she stands as an example of powerful living!
I love her
