Make no mistake I don't do anything for free
I keep my enemies closer than my mirror ever gets to me
And if you think that there is shelter in this attitude
Wait til you feel the warmth of my gratitude.

One, I get the feeling that it's two against one.
One, I'm already fighting me, so what's another one?
The mirror is a trigger and your mouth's a gun.
One, Lucky for me, I'm not the only one.

And if it looks to me like you in your reflection
Plan to add your own fight to this dimension.
Then tell it that this ain't no free-for-all to see,
There's only three
It's just you and me against me.

One, I get the feeling that it's two against one.
One, I'm already fighting me, so what's another one?
The mirror is a trigger and your mouth's a gun.
One, lucky for me, I'm not the only one.
Lucky for me, I'm not the only one.

And if your foot's on to sick a thousand "yes men"
Brand or brake into the middle of this little plan…
Then there's your plan to hear me say,
That I won't play around the way, anyway
I plan to plan around them.

One, I get the feeling that it's two against one.
One, I'm already fighting me, so what's another one?
The mirror is a trigger and your mouth's a gun.
One, lucky for me, I'm not the only one.
Lucky for me, I'm not the only one…

Hate yourself and the life you're leading?
Little known fact: this was composed as the theme for a cancelled James Bond film titled, you guessed, it Two Against One.

I enjoy these lyrics, and some others I've heard from Jack White. From reading the comments below, I feel blessed that my only exposure to his music is Radio Paradise! From what little I have heard, it seems Jack White enjoys his own intensity. For now, I enjoy it too.
I give it an 8.

I read down a little. Maybe I'm saying something similar, maybe I'm saying something different.

Total dick with a God complex. Personable lyrics, in a voice that isn't afraid to say many times what we all want to.

Im like Doc Holiday and Johnmy Ringo when it comes to Jack White. I think I appreciate his contribution, but I hate him because he reminds me of me In obscure ways.

Not bad!  7 from me.
Nice to hear Daniele Luppi here; my uploads of some of his tunes were rejected.
My lucky day, I tune in and this is on, nice.
Jack White, always a straight 8 (at least).

In which he is thoroughly embarrassed time and time again? That movie?

Ok, I'll be the first to send Jack a little love. I dig this song, and just about everything else this guy does. Saw him in a club in Detroit years back and he shredded the shi**y red plastic guitar he walked out with. Unbelievably talented and visionary guy. Granted, his vision extends backwards about 70-80 years to some of the obscure Delta Blues guys, but the guy has a point of view.
Was going to comment on just one of the posts so far but decided that you are all crybabies.
I like most of Jack Whites music except I cant stand his whiney singing.
I find these types of artists are at times just a little too 'hip' for their own good.

On the whole the song's composition isn't that bad,but jack's vocal style grates at my nerve endings.
