Hey everyone, Peter Brambl, producer for Silver Pesos here. Just wanted to thank you for all of the kind words. I love the community at RP and it's always great to see what people are listening to.
Feel free to reach out with any questions about the music.

"A lot" - I don't hear that. The melody, chord progression, rhythm, and tempo are quite different from those of that song ("Missing"), but I guess some could hear similarities in the production sound.
Doesn't this sound a lot like that desert/rain song (forget the title) by Everything But The Girl?

Hi. Sorry to spot this late, but it's great to see you posting here. Superb work, friend. The album isn't half bad either.

Opening lyrics "I was born...." Thought it was going to be a crazy cover of Jumpin' Jack Flash.

Without question B & R - it is a fine service to introduce new listeners to the best of our past, it is an exponential service to have all of the complex RP engineering (whilst easy to use). So, a hearty thank you from Newport, RI where the Folk Festival just finished and the Jazz Festival is in full swing.

Exactly. There was time I just thought music was kind of dead. RP helped me realize there was only a death in programming, with glimmers of life in select places and a healthy music scene still out there after all. Love RP!
What I absolutely love about RP is that every day brings new music from new (to me, anyway) bands, even after many years of listening to the station. It's just so refreshing. This number is a real attention-grabber, from the instrumentals to the singer's voice. 8 from the entranced Nottingham jury.

Superb. Haven't heard this in a while so sounds fresh again. Thanks RP.
K&D or Tosca? Nobody?

So boring.....
Sound seems pop music of '90s...

Auto-tune overrides all other factors.
Score: 1.

Appropriate segue from Sarah Blasko to this. If I didn't know I'd think that this was Fever Ray cooling down.

Sexy Song, cool video too (dig those dark eyes)....
Bill, I thought you called this band "The Sulfur Pesos"!
I am also confused as to how much I am digging this song - a little or a lot.

Super Cool sounds! Yes, "trippy cool" exactly! I not only bopped along, I had to put my camera down and explore the lyrics as this enchanting voice brought me along for a smooth ride

Too many times now, this one has caught my attention despite the RP stream merely flowing through the noisy and distracting background of my world. When something makes me stop and log in to comment, it's notable. I may have to spring for this CD ....
Very nice!

Spot on. We are in the sweet spot of the tennis racket of Internet radio. You know what I mean.
I also give this an 8 after a first listen. Very cool that the producer of the band is an RP member btw.
It's interesting to try out some of Apple's created channels on iRadio after listening to RP for so long. You realize that are so many bands and genres out there that RP doesn't play, but it's hard for me to listen to Pandora or iRadio for very long. The worst thing about those two "stations" is that they provide limited ways to tweak what you're offered.
When you listen to Radio Paradise, you're in the Goldsmiths' sonic world--but it's a pretty damned cool place.

Glad to be here!
Nice one, how could anyone compare this to elevator music, maybe if you had some recreationals in the elevator ,,,
There is a lot of MUZAK playing today. I feel like I am in an elevator. Let me out!

So even the producers are around... just another bonus for RP!
The tune got me from the very first second. Starting with a 7 as well. Curious rating pattern, so far, peaking so drastically at 7!

To the preceding comments I would add that 95% of the music here I really enjoy (despite a few lower ratings, which just means I don't want to hear music like that as frequently as higher-rated songs); much of it I end up buying for my RP Favorites playlist, which is great for long plane trips—along with a mellowing amitriptyline tab they go so much better!

Fresh out of the box! I really like the music and synth. Vocals are soothing too. Unusual and fresh atmosphere.
