To me this is 7 - Quite Likeable
Great one) Really cool song)
Saw her at the NAC in Ottawa.
Not to be missed!

Not to be missed!

dynamite voice : )
Most catchy. A good wish-to-sing-out-loud-but-am-in-cube song. Could be made more eerie. Eerier?
Turned up the volume to maximum - *gonna annoy the next cubey*. No worries, they like it too..
I think she was in Ottawa and I missed her. Not the next time!

Her new album "Good advice" just released three months ago...maybe some from that or live tracks.
Check out Basia Bulat Live at Massey Hall on Youtube. She shows off her vocals thoroughly. Even tho the performance is a bit raw, or indulgent, it is powerful and heartfelt. If you like the somewhat uneven and sterile studio tracks a little, you will like the concert a lot.
i would like to hear more of her
the band isn't so hot
wiki says she is known for playing the autoharp
how about some of that

Her vocal style reminds me of Tracy Chapman. Thought it was her for a split second there.

Still an okay song, though.
I'd like to hear her version of Hips Don't Lie.
Exactly what I was thinking! Still an okay song, though.

Couldn't agree more. Basia opened for Daniel Lanois here earlier this year, both of them accompanied by a full orchestra. Magical night. Basia is a true talent.
She's great live too! Worth seeing.

Nice. BB has come into her own more and more with her albums, including this sadly-inspired substitute. I enjoy seeing (hearing) an artist like her develop so well.
Damnit Bill, this is one thoughtful play-list.
Basher Bulat, Bill makes her sound like the school bully, gimme ya dinner money
And the playlist just gets longer and longer...
Thanks, Bill!
Thanks, Bill!
Potentially interesting
