Yeah...  F*** baritone and the people who like it.

That's what I used to say when I played the Alto Sax in Jr. High Band....damn baritones were so loud right behind us, and also behind us were the damn trombones.....part of why I didn't go on to Sr. High Band (and not practicing the sax too.)

I think I agree though with others, at least on this track I'm going 6→5.  Maybe it sounds good in the flow of the entire album, although again, like some comments say, the album is not inspiring.  Oh well!  Long Live RP!!

Yeah... Think you meant boringtone.
To me the band has lost most of its appeal with this album. Sounds uninspired and boring.
This band is REALLY growing on me. Gotta get me sum National.

The first album from The National that I could really get into.  Not my favorite track of it but still pretty good.

I'm with you. Grinding, just-woke-up-with-a-hangover voice. Grim, repetitive, stone-gray, dull, un-melodic. Other than that, it's great!

The National must have listened to Asgeir...

I think the dreariness is part of the appeal to many of their fans - an aspect many can relate to apparently.  Maybe not...  At this point, this band's output seems more like a formula to me - cool atmosphere though.  Well, it works for them and their fans.

Hilarious.

I thought that only The National was allowed to imitate The National.
Funny, this sounded like someone imitating The National
