I don't think I'm the only one who had to double-check that he really is wearing pants on that album cover. Not the best design ever…
I love this message!
When my wife and I went north to teach school on a Cree Reserve in northern Alberta, Canada in the late 80's, we befriended an older couple to help teach us some of the Cree language. On the first session at our house, I asked them to teach me how to say, "Don't worry, be happy." To this day, my wife and I still know that phrase, (phonetically - Kya mum ta neeta, me weeta.")
Thanks RP for another time trip to a very special time in my life.
And thanks Mabel (RIP) for your generosity and kindness. and thanks Russell (RIP) for teaching me the "foul" Cree expressions so that I would know when my students in the Alternate Program were cursing me. The first time I overheard one of my students telling his friend to watch what he said around me, because "Mr. Dueck knows Cree," I knew its value.

Takes me back! THIS WAS EVERYWHERE that year, and when my British mate Mike "Short Circuit" R from Newcastle and I were in Bali for the first time, over the Christmas '88 / New Year's '89 break, it played often as we shot billiards and drank Beer Bintang all night in Legian and Kuta Beach... Seemed like good advice!

I still like this song after all these years. For this crowd, I would have picked one of the other excellent songs on Simple Pleasures, perhaps Good Lovin', Drive, or Sunshine Of Your Love.

Adorable, and I love that this has been added to the rotation. Thank you.
I love this goofy song. I especially like the video with Robin Williams and Bill Irwin.

This is the best of what is typically referred to as a novelty song. The melody line and rhythm are infectious. The lyrics are full of both silly and fun lines. Certainly raises my mood every time I hear it. RP thanks for adding this to the playlist. Hope to hear it again.
Where attention goes, energy flows - choose wisely! Wonderful song
Glad to be part of this historical moment
great song btw!
