Love the idea behind this as I am constantly scouring the credits to see what snippet that song was and who performed it. One that comes to mind was this ambient piece that was always played on the Japanese station NHK World’s weather segment. It’s gone now but YouTube has a minute or so of it still.

Just for some clarity....the obscure 'band' is me...I'm the guy behind all the audio editing/engineering on Radio 2050. All of these pieces were originally the pieces you hear behind interviewees on 2050. Long story short, we thought it would be cool to create a 'study/focus' channel out of them, and give it all some sort of fantastical and whimsical story/background. Thus. rule 42. Cheers, and thanks for listening!
Not sure what I think of this song - or what I think of an entire channel devoted to one obscure band - but I do appreciate that the band's bio (?) appears to be accompanied by a drawing in the style of Moebius.

Sounds like Trent Reznor would fit right in on this one.
